This story could also be included in the biography section. Maybe I’ll include it. After all, although it is apparently only the story of my former magazine, it is also my story.
It was Friday when I returned home from the other side of the world, almost metres away. My son called to say that Mom had filed for divorce…
On Monday, I was working for an agency. My graphic designer colleague had drawn a dandelion under the New York Times style lettering. It became the magazine’s logo. I really liked it, but later a will flushed it down the drain. I let it go…
Then came the modern version, trying to keep up with the times, and I started to work my life diligently into the world of expectations. Or was I always living like that, who knows?
Then, about three years ago, the boundaries between spirituality and physical reality began to blur sharply, and a Divine Inferno began in my life.
The logo at the time went down the drain with another strong will, and I fell to pieces like a dandelion’s dandelion…
The rebirth has begun…
And in this cleansing fire, among other things, the desire to give and the desire to build community was very strongly formulated in me.
I can only give what I am all about, and that is in my writing and in everything I do.
At first I tried to physically get groups of people in the same place, but now it doesn’t matter how many miles separate us.
It is only important that we walk the same path in our souls.
The previous logo is back and the first font is back on the magazine page. The dandelion is something I’ve been pondering for a while. But today it came to mind from several places…
“…childhood itself. Or life. Before round, yellow, merry as the sun. Then it turns into a silver moon. Finally it scatters like stars. And it starts again. A strong-rooted weed – and a miracle plant, with healing properties. When – which. There is a tale, written by a Yeshua Paolo Gioiello, about the legend of the dandelion. According to this story, the dandelion had a hard time deciding what it wanted to be, and the Creator fulfilled all its desires: the whole world is in it.”

The legend of the dandelion
God sent an angel to ask the plants what they should look like.
Each one wanted to be a beautiful, red or white, big flower, blooming like a summer dream or blue like the clear sky... only the dandelion didn't know what it really wanted to be... so the angel gave it another day to think.
Praying, she tried to decide... and she saw the sun and decided she wanted to be like the sun, yellow and beautiful.
Then he saw the moon and changed his mind. He wanted to be like the MOON, white, round, translucent.
Then she noticed the STARS and really liked them too.
When the angel came, she didn't know what to say to him: I would be like the DAY, like the MOON, and like the STARS.
I can't decide... he sighed sadly.
So the Creator fulfilled all his desires.
So the dandelion starts out yellow like the sun, then white and round like the moon, and when you blow on it, it scatters like STARS.
(Yeshua Paolo Gioiello - Krol Sandyno)

And what is the saying?
Be like the dandelion! Every time it falls apart, it starts all over again.
